Our show will be a fast paced mixture of opinions, interviews, caller debate, and interaction between the hosts and the audience. We have NO hidden agendas, ties, or affiliations with any particular team, coach, or athlete. What that means for the listener, is that we will give you honest, straight forward opinions on any topic that we are covering. Some days will be filled with humor. Some days will be filled with intense debate. Some days may even be emotional. What we can say is that every day, we will give it to the listener straight, with no hidden agendas.
When thinking about the premise of “Straight Talk Sports”, we wanted to separate ourselves from the standard – “Run of the Mill” – sports talk shows that are heard daily in and around East Tennessee. We understand the importance of keeping up with the Vols; however we want to be different in our approach. Some talk shows in the area let the callers be the show and take over. There are also some sports talk shows where the hosts want to ramble on and on about what they believe and feel about daily sports topics.
